Letter from the President

Hello Everyone!

My name is Taylor Smith and I was elected to serve as Tau Lambda’s Chapter President for 2023. Although, we were unable to recruit this past semester, we spent the time focusing on our philanthropy and sisterhood. This past semester we paired with the Harrisburg Senators for “Strike-Out Arthritis”, held a chipotle fundraiser, sticker sales on campus, and an annual Panda Drive, where we collected stuffed animals to donate to local children’s hospitals. As a chapter we grew through sisterhoods this semester like: going to a pumpkin patch, spooky bingo, friendsgiving, and movie nights. We are looking forward to Spring recruitment, especially alongside Shippensburg University’s new Greek life director, Bridgette Allen. Our goals this semester are to continue being involved not only in the Panhellenic community, but Shippensburg University’s community as well. Internally, our new executive team is super excited to work together and get started in the new year! More updates to come.

For questions or more information about our organization, recruitment dates, or how to become involved, please refer to the contact information provided on the homepage.
